Under construction — I’ve not been to these places. This map is for trip planning purposes, but on the off chance some of the info here might help others, I’m putting it here where others can perhaps find it. The map shows locations of the ports for Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL’s) Pride of America’s Tour of the Hawaiian Islands, restaurants and roadside stands that have had reviews mentioning at least gluten-free options, and some excursions and places to visit that may be wheelchair accessible.

Someone asked about movies about Hawaii — to get in the mood to travel there. Here are a few I found.
Documentaries
- Eating at Duke’s? If you’d like to know who he was try “Waterman” on Amazon Prime
- “Surf Girls” lets us meet and watch stunningly talented young Hawaiian women work at their craft and compete (Amazon)
- Excellent coverage of the issues dealt with by islanders: lava flows, economics, culture, and more in “Island Diaries: Season 1 Episode 4: Big Island/Hawaii” (Amazon)
- National Geographic’s “Wild Hawaii” 2 episodes giving a closeup, largely of wildlife (found on DisneyPlus)
- “Hawaiian” surfer, rescuer, role-model Eddie Aikau (DisneyPlus)
- Aerial America Episode 2, on Hawaii from the air (Amazon Prime)
Movies
- A light movie with lots of lovely Hawaiian scenery, hula lessons, and, of course love: “Romance In Hawaii” (Amazon)
- “The Haumana” movie featuring a class of kids practicing hula for a competition (Amazon Prime)
